Trudy is a holistic healer living in Port Townsend, WA. She has worked for 42 years in the field of physical therapy, specializing in neurologic (brain injury and other diseases) and vestibular rehabilitation (treatment for dizziness and balance), and in the management of chronic pain.
During her continuing education for her physical therapy license, she was introduced to extensive training in Craniosacral Therapy (John Upledger: CST I & II, Somatoemotional Release.) She has also completed four courses in Myofascial Release (John Barnes: MFR I & II, Sacral/Pelvic; Unwinding). Trudy has over 25 years of hands-on treatment, using these modalities.
Trudy studied with Bonnie Masi in Port Townsend ( physical therapist, psychic healer and transformational consultant), in 1990, where she learned to work with the energy and the intuitive body in a whole new way. She was graced with Third Degree Reiki attunements in the Usui Reiki system, many years ago, with Therese Ann Renuart , and recently received a renewal of her Masters level Reiki with Reiki Master, Carol Long, both of Port Townsend, WA.
Through her extensive training of working with the physical and energetic bodies, Trudy is prepared to offer a very holistic approach to healing. Through her professional training and her own personal experience, she understands we are most whole when we allow all our bodies to speak...physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
In her spare time, Trudy loves to sing and dance, to take luxurious excursions into nature, listen to the stories of inspiring movies and books, write poetry, and practice yoga, Tai Chi, and toning. She attends meditation and spiritual gatherings on a regular basis with her friends. She finds that, through these practices and activities, she lives a more balanced and inspiring life from which to help others.
